Flat bed Turning CNC lathes are Computer numerical controlled lathes with flat bed, are rapidly replacing the horizontal manual lathes due to their ease of setting, operation, repeatability and accuracy than manual lathe. They are designed to use new style carbide cutting tools and use fast processes. The part can be designed and the cutting tool paths programmed by the CAD/CAM process or manually by the programmer, and the resulting file transfer to Flat bed Turning CNC Lathe machine, and once setting and trialled the machine will continue to machining out the parts automatic.
The Flat bed Turning CNC lathes is controlled electronically via a computer menu style interface, the program may be modified and displayed at the machine screen, right now Flat bed CNC lathes use much low price low version CNC system like SIEMENS 808 CNC, GSK 980TD CNC more than FANUC 0i-TD CNC.
